KARACHI: Pakistan Navy has test-fired a long-range missile from a warship on Friday here, Geo News reported.

Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Asif Sandila along with Chairman Nescom witnessed the firing of the missile.

Pak Navy Chief on this occasion said that the successful firing of the missile was a testimony of the professional acumen and insurmountable capability of the warship. He said that the officers and soldiers of the Pak Navy deserve compliments.

Admiral Asif Sandila further said that Pakistan Navy was ever ready to meet any challenge. He said that the government was aware of the needs of the Pak Navy and efforts are afoot to address them.

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Navy has successfully performed an experiment, firing long range missiles from a warship, Navy spokesman said on Friday.

According to the spokesman, Pakistan Navy Asif Sandila along with the Chairman of National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) analyzed the capability of the missiles.

Speaking on the occasion, Sandila congratulated the fleet officers and soldiers for carrying out a successful operation.

Sandila said that the Navy was ready to face any challenge threatening nation’s stability.

“Successful missile firing is a symbol of Pakistan Navy’s professional capability and deterrence against any threat,” he added.
