Those gunboats are meant for coastal patrols, maritime Security against asymmetric threats, and sovereignty enforcement in territorial regions.
The boats currently under construction are bigger than the Polish ones recently delivered.

Not much detail has come out of actual design but this looks a nice concept particularly for marines and coastal operations.

Not everywhere you can take ships, planes, choppers etc, these boats are extremely important and give relieve to other big navy accents, think of it as small naval vessel with can keep an eye on our coasts line.
