NEW DELHI: Indias right wing party Shiv Sena announced that they will organize protests at all venues where the India-Pakistan cricket series is to be hosted, reported CNN-IBN.
The series, which heralds a revival for international cricket in Pakistan, was approved by India earlier this year.
Soon after news of the series broke, Shiv Sena announced it would not let Pakistan play in India.
The party had said that Pakistan is responsible for the 2008 Mumbai carnage and it would not be allowed to play in the country.
In October, Indias cricket board secured government clearance to host Pakistan for a short tour in December.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has invited Pakistan to play three one-dayers and two Twenty20 matches in December-January, the first bilateral contests between the arch-rivals in five years.
The rivals have not played a series since Pakistans tour of India in 2007, after cricket ties were snapped following the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai.
The Indian and Pakistani cricket teams have only met in international tournaments since 2007.
