If the boat was carrying military-grade explosives why wasn't it blown to bits by this point? I wonder if the explosives on board were low-grade and meant for fishing. Maybe this wasn't anything to do with terror at all.

It could be Indian Army taking out revenge on innocent fisher man. Is there any proof that these guys were doing anything wrong? The fisher man from Pakistan and India often lost their ways and end up in wrong territory.

Checking Pakistani vessels like this is equivalent to a Naval blockade and an act of war,if you want to go by the laws.
Extended interdiction has to be agreed between nations or approved by UN under special circumstances as it happened during Iraq war...or Australian illegal migration check. Or special Migrant check on Ships and boats in the Mediterranean.

Actually interdiction can happen in many cases and not just enroute war zone.

eg suspected piracy or slave trading or unauthorised boradacasting etc.

using dynamite sticks is a very crude way of fishing . its normally done on the lakes I know we do that in northern areas and waste a lot of Trout fish in the process
dont know if its done on sea


the Indian/ Pakistani fishermen use nets and they are still using the centuries old methods. nothing compared to the super trawlers that plough the sea floor and leave everything devastated.

coming to explosion .. yes I did notice the intact frame engulfed in fire and that doesn't support the primary and secondary explosion theory but I am wrong nationality so I couldn't say that

keeping in mind the recent Karachi dockyard attack and the Mombai attack.

(delayed explosions normally only take out the roof. if the roof is flimsy then it takes most of the impact.. just a theory)

Isn't sethi the same guy who took up arms against Pakistan in 70's. Why was he not executed?
