Pak Army treats 160,954 Sindh flood victims in 24 hours

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan army has treated 160,954 people in flood affected areas of Sindh in last the 24 hours, and rescued 1,296 flood affected people near Manchar Lake.
According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, the army provided cooked food to 18,913 people and distributed 13 tons of ration in Sindh over the last 24 hours.
Army engineers are busy plugging breaches at Ghouspur bund in Sindh, and are repairing 117 link roads from Farm to Market in southern Punjab.
The army has established 20 medical camps for the affected areas of southern Punjab. More than 150 schools and 100 basic health units are being maintained and renovated by the army.
One C-17 carrying 46 tons of relief goods from Sialkot reached Quetta for distribution among the flood affected people of Dera Murad Jamali and Naseerabad. SAMAA
