Pak Afghan Border Clashes Continue

.
Of course. On top of it all the repatriation has completely slowed down.

Indeed. Our entire focus was on the east whilst we blinded ourselves to an enemy that has never accepted our existence and we allowed this enemy complete access.

I am very much supportive of every border control method to be employed and even raising of border control forces well equipped to combat this threat however we must keep to our mind that the western border will now take good chunk of our energy bcz unlike the eastern border where we face mostly on a 700km+ loc, here we will face the ANA, terrorist sanctuaries and the local militias and tribes. So even if we end up negotiation some peace settlement with afghan govt the independent tribes will continuously harass and use guerilla tactics to inflict such losses and this will go on for a very long long long time.

The fence will be attacked, the men will be attacked and the posts will e attacked. This is why we have stationed a major portion of our army over there and this is why we are building forts 1-2 km apart and check posts everywhere.

This is the future of our western border. Its a necessity and I support this necessity at every expense.
Why is it that Pakistan did not focus on her western border? The early leaders knew that Afghanistan does not accept Pakistan. Sure the foolish "Mullah mentality" about brother hood was there but the top guns never bought into this mentality nor Islamic brother hood.Only the common man was hoodwinked by this.

There is a news that PAF on 'High Alert' ⚠️

do you really think the Afghan government is going to give you approval to setup positions around afgan side of the ..too many people day dreaming on this forum
the solution is simple you have to take few manly steps without thinking for one min that afgan are our dearly brothers
1 st step close the border permanently no one goes their and no one comes in through road that includes nato shit as well
2nd step give a month warning to all Afghan in Pakistan to get out no more extensions nothing simply get lost to the shit hole they came out from .
3 rd stop all kinds of exports to Afghanistan and stop allowing them to use the karachi port permanently
4th if any Afghan is caught give them a 10 year sentence or they can work in our coal mines in Baluchistan or help us build roads for next 5 years with no wages or make them build the fence all the way til the end of Iran Pakistan border
5 th any Afghan found doing any illegal stuff in Pakistan will be hanged no mercy no more going through court or anything special military courts for them
6th tell all tribal people no one is crossing that border either they are with Pakistan or Afghanistan . those who will cross the border will be considered as enemies of Pakistan and will be shot on sight or hanged if caught
7th create a buffer zone anyone coming 500 m near our fence or border will be shot no warning or any game playing

IN order to implement all this you need the military to actually do what they are paid to do .anyone else is free to add on it
But should the military high brass decide on something like this, you can bet your bottom dollar that the politicians will wail about this.

Step 1:Eradicate traitors and corruption.
Step 2: Repeat step 1.
Step 3: Repeat step 2.

Local treaties were a huge factor. Pakistan had signed several treaties with tribes based on autonomy. The early leaders did not just see rejection of Pakistan but also saw invasion of Pakistani areas by Afghanistan. In comparison the current leaders haven't seen squat.

Plus entire military focus was on India which was a grave mistake. In the 80s there was the afghan war and Pakistan was playing a huge role in it which meant no way was there going to be fencing. In the 90s again Pakistan was playing a role and with the Taliban in power in mid 90s Pakistan completely relaxed on the border control and this saw the Taliban slowly creep into FATA. Infact the border control awareness came in 2004 when operations against the Taliban started and the fact slammed Pakistan that the western border must be secured.

Mistakes of the past and zero foresight is the reason here.

The fence will be completed despite harassments and attacks and forts will be made. Our very existence depends on this.

To me, I do not think it is just mistakes...criminal negligence and even sinister elements...

Early leaders did not see rejection. Was is not open that Afghanistan refused to accept Pakistan into the UN?

At least we have some Pakistanis (like you) who understand the existential threat...the amount of Pakistanis I meet in life and on PDF, that just don't get it. When I say to them that having wily nily, people of a country that has never accepted Pakistan, inside Pakistan, is a demographic time bomb. They start talking about human rights and how would you feel if you were repatriated and you know nothing of your homeland, and not all of them are bad.
Its like they care more for them than for their own...

It seems a cultural marxist ideology has also infected them....

Pakistan signed treaties and all but who get blamed for terrorism now? Not tribes who were autonomous and supposed to defend FATA from terrorists coming from Afghanistan but army who was not even there!

Turi, Bangash and afridi tribesmen from Khyber Agency and pashtoons from Kurram Agency are heading towards Pak-Afg border to fight Afghan forces. While FC KPK has asked them to get back and keep eye on infiltrators who might have entered Pakistan from Khost during clashes.

I do not understand Pukhto, but I get the impression that (some of) the tribesmen understand that foreign agencies are helping to stir up trouble via Afghanistan?

they are there to even die for Pakistan (no fear in their eyes, no hesitation). the person talking to the gathering in start says "Chaahy kisi kay paas bandook ho, chaahy talwaar ho. jo b hatyar ho. wo nikal aaye hamary watan par hamla hua hay ham ne jawab dena hy.".

these men don't care that the persons on the other side of border are Pashtoon's too. they are there because they live Pakistani.
