As we read a lot about PAF exercises with many of the Air Forces around the globe, to share our experience; the not spoken activity is just noted in a picture here. It may not be easy for our neighbor in the East to know all these developments. The main idea is to share our achievements through diplomacy as such despite all the claims & threats of isolation.

I wish that @Windjammer was around since he is busy & away for a while but hopefully will join us hence, tagging him. Credits to the gentleman for his brilliant observations and so keeping up with everything to remind the foe on every occasion. Our esteemed members & good observers can share their thoughts or analysis.

Since PAF was with South Korean Air Force; I am sure many will be surprised to know as such. Whether it wasn't with Jets being pitched against each other or otherwise; still such cooperation matters a lot for learning & polishing skills in certain areas. Any exchange of ideas or expertise, is a worthy exercise to keep with modern day challenges in Air Battle.

@JamD since they look young aces; I can assume that boys were there in regard to learn along side new technology & handling certain situations. I cannot doubt South Koreans technological advancement. Boys are falcon riders.

Did we pitch JF-17 against top range SKAF jets? ;) :-)

RoKAF is a very professional organisation and having exercises with them will greatly enhance cooperation between the 2 countries. Here though, most of the PAF pilots are in South Korea for centrifuge training & qualification.

I don't see any Thunder in South Korea, at-least I can say for myself.
They don't need it. Their F/A-50 alone is far more capable than the JF-17. Let's not even talk about their collection of Vipers, Strike Eagles, Phantoms etc etc

True that. The intention was more about PAF collaboration abroad & training/exercise level which is bit unknown to many of internet warriors. What they think mostly is that, we are limited to most of our resources while these training says otherwise like so much for isolation... you may remember the news about US stops training for us & internet went crazy in neighborhood.

RoKAF is in-fact a professional organisation and well equipped so PAF should continue such programs to enhance our capabilities.

PAF have regular training in south korea since many years. Mostly they come for high G training as much as i know.

Indeed PAF used to have such training programs since long. The purpose is to give a reality check to whom it may concern. Beside that, it is informative for those who didn't know.

Dear member as you have mentioned please do mention some features of F/A50 for knowledge sake as their stealth jet is also almost knocking at door.

That may have hit the news about stopping training, yet yesterday my former neighbour met up with PAF officers on deputation in the US for courses at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama. The media will highlight more on the negativity as that sells better (generally most are never grateful the value of something until it is no longer there).

Agreed, co-operation with RoKAF will be excellent. And on the OEM side, I hope one PAC and KAI get to start working on joint projects.

Given how old PAF is, the size of PAF and the need to train so many candidates every year, you would have thought that by now, PAF would have this facility inhouse by now..
Always understaffed and a lot more these days for pilots. Most have questioned why this type of facility is not available in Pakistan. Same goes for commercial flight training when it comes to flight simulators.

What does it say about PAF’s training that they don’t have such facilities in-house? PAF generally prides itself on the quality of its training, and indeed many battles with bigger air forces (India, USSR, etc) have underscored this qualitative edge, but the lack of such facilities must be undermining PAF’s potential. No?

Hi this kind of facility is it available in China also if yes they why not going to China
Or this specific training is for f16
If possible to answer my someone with more knowledge
Thank you
