Does PAF have a memorial or a historical squadron or flight? Used vintage aircraft from PAF inventory to commemorate Air Force pilots and aircrew who gave their lives?

Nops, nothing of that sort.

We don't have the luxury to keep even a few of the older aircraft running.

all vintage aircraft are part of the PAF museum now. many of the squadrons are still in active service. 7th Sept is observed as AIRFORCE DAY every year to commemorate the sacrifices of pilots and airmen.

How about setting up an volunteers maintaining these aircraft as they do here in Britain they usually tend to be ex-air force who volunteer their time and experience. By creating a charity we could donate funds to maintain these aircrafts.......

making such aircraft airworthy would be very costly. not saying it cannot be done.

Its not just that. We were too eager to help everyone out there who wanted these birds. Where are the Tempests, the Spitfires, Supermarine Attackers and the Sea Furies? The Halifaxes? All that remains of them sits in foreign museums. There's one Texan sitting at the Karachi PAF museum.......pffffffffft.........
