I'm guessing no details on the aircraft used? My guess would be f-16s were used but it would be nice if it were the jf-17s.

IMO, it would have been JF-17 this time as well however, the night Op, coordination among forces, timely Intel and success against terrorists actually validates more of operational capability and readiness Pakistan Armed Forces. It is diaclosed that these terrorists were trying to enter Pakistan from Nangar Har through Rajgal Valley yet striked from above while giving them no chance but few managed to runaway/back to Afghanistan.

Great job PAF. They should have continued on into Afghanistan and killed the rest of the coward. But still great readiness and timing by our forces.

Several terrorists killed in Khyber Agency air strikes: ISPR

JAMRUD:

Pakistani forces carried out targeted air strikes in the Khyber Agency on Wednesday, killing several terrorists who had crossed over from Afghanistan.
“On credible intelligence regarding movement of terrorists from Nangarhar, Afghanistan into Rajgal valley, Khyber Agency targeted air strikes [were] conducted in the Sattar Kalay and Narai Nau areas of Rajgal Valley, Khyber Agency,” Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement. “Many [terrorists] killed, few injured. Injured and survivors fled back. Hideouts destroyed,” the terse statement added.

Security sources put the number of militants killed in the air strikes at six. They said as many were injured and at least two hideouts were destroyed in the air blitz. One of the hideouts – located in the Rajgal area of Tirah right on the border with Afghanistan – was used by terrorists as an ammunition dump, according to them.

Rajgal and its surrounding areas were considered strongholds of terrorists until eight years ago when they were routed in a series of military operations.

Maybe we should stop using fighter jets in our own territory now, the war is won, these clean up jobs can be done discretely by attack helis, the reason bieng that airstrikes make headlines all around the world n we need to send out a clear message that there is no war anymore in pakistan...

We have to use fighter jets in Rajgal this area is mostly used to infiltrate through Afghanistan and fighter jets make approach time short. This is the area used by RAW and NDS to insert terrorist in Balochistan.

Agreed. And the topography makes heli maneuvering extremely dangerous

@BHarwana I understand that jets can approach faster but these infiltrations wont stop anytime soon, not until the kabul regime falls, so will we keep conducting airstrikes on our own territory?,as i said airstrikes are a big thing n send out the impression of war n bigger threat, maybe army should post attack helis near the infiltration hotspots so that the dogs can be dealt without raising alarm bells, we need to build up a narrative tht war is over in pakistan...anyways our guys in uniform on the ground know better, im just punching thin air here:-)
