Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) deputy convener, Dr Farooq Sattar has said that failure in election reforms in two months would mean to sustain the old outdated system which was not acceptable at all.

Addressing a seminar of Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors here in Karachi on Saturday, Dr Farooq Sattar said that all political parties after success in general elections should ensure local bodies polls across the country.

He claimed that if the local bodies elections were not held it would create hurdles for democratic process which was not in favour of country and its people also.

The MQM deputy convener said that if voters turn out in Balochistan remained less then it would result in East Pakistan like situation in the province.

Dr Farooq Sattar said that ongoing situation in the country was conducive and joint efforts were needed to sett aside the political, sectarian and provincial differences were needed to mend the situation.

someone should tell him first step would be reforming karachi constituencies. which is NOT ACCEPTABLE TO MQM! so there is no way forward!

ok fine bycott the election and sit outside the government this time...

^^ no this is not fine... let some muk muka mafia to decide the future of Pakistan in the name of elections, is not acceptable.

Something has to be wrong because corrupt parties like PPP, PML-N, MQM continue to get elected and successfully sabotage Pakistan economy.
