Panthera-T6 armoured vehicle
HIGHLIGHTS----
**Panthera-T6 armoured vehicle costs around Rs 75 lakh.
**The vehicle has been designed to deal with irate mobs and stone pelters.
**MSPV develops Panthera T6 from Toyota land cruiser.

To keep security personnel away from harm's way, the government has introduced an all new armoured personnel carrier in Jammu and Kashmir where stone-pelting has reared its ugly head as a new form of attack by a few wayward Kashmiri youth.

In violence-hit Kashmir, where stone-pelting incidents are reported on a regular basis, Panthera-T6 armoured vehicle will prove its mettle as a saviour. The state-of-the-art combat vehicle will also protect our forces from marauding terror attacks.

Know more about the armoured personnel carrier:---
1.The cost of one Panthera-T6 armoured vehicle is around Rs 75 lakh and is built to deal with irate mobs and stone pelters.
2.It is a light armoured personnel carrier and will be deployed in violence hit areas.

4.It has real-time public monitoring system and high resolution camera, which can monitor a mob around 360 degrees.
5.The vehicle is quipped with stretcher, medicines and tow bars.
6.Each Army unit will be equipped with two of these bullet-proof vehicles to record movements within 500 metre.
7.MSPV develops Panthera T6 from Toyota land cruiser. It is armored personnel carrier.

Nice finally you found bullet proof solution for stones . Bravo right when i thought you people cant get any ridiculous. A normal trucl with flexible plastic would do the same job if you want to hide in a car.

No need for comparisons. Expected Indian forces to have already been using these types of vehicles long ago at as they are a norm for most law enforcement agencies. Pak Armoring and HIT have been making Land Cruiser based armored vehicles since ages. They are extensively used by Police and Rangers.

There are also Land Cruiser and Toyota Tundra based APCs in Police and Rangers use. Army uses higher protection level vehicles.

The Mahindra marksman is in service with most Indian police forces (as well as in the Mid East and S.America). I'm surprised the IA went for a land cruiser based solution when there are dozens of similar products made in India that would likely be far cheaper. I guess this machine must deliver some exceptional performance.

Because in valley you will need to destroy houses to move in street!

The only reason they continue to throw rocks, is because they know nothing will happen. The moment army starts open firing on such crowds you'd see these pelters disappear completely.

Army does not fire on crowds. Not until own personal security is at risk.

@raja hindustani @cerberus @punit @shree835

a good topic. dont derail it please. ignore trolls

Operation Raining Bullets will be a better tactic to calm down these 5% stone pelters permanently.

Raining bullets? Really? So that along with those 5%, the other 95% people also get to taste the punishment for stone-pelting? Is that what you're suggesting? What do you think we are? Iraq? Pakistan? Syria?

I didn't say anything about harming the 95%.
But I prefer dealing with the 5% causing trouble and the stone pelters in a harsher way.
Enough is enough. Book these people on sedition charges and yeah bullet to the head for violent separatist actions

I am also surprised that many local solutions were overlooked. A scandal may be awaiting
