. . . .
Since Tik Tok is selling well with teen girls that shows we are in a spiraling decline.

According to the Chinese Brigade the US can’t innovate and we’re completely done for.

Yet somehow the US has the most influential tech companies on the planet.

Funny when I look around I don't see one invention by China other than an umbrella.
Where are all their inventions?

. .
2020 is the year when China started to realize US technologies are not reliable. There will be a big change in next few years.

.
But the US is being overtaken?
OVERTAKING and not overtaken.
Still long way to go.
Hope the difference not too difficult for you.

Why so much fear and insecurity from SUPA POWA USA?
China is just a developing country, albeit the ONLY country currently that have the potential to overtake the current hegemon.
CHILL, enjoy the competition, and the CLOWN show by your orange man in charge.

Invention and Innovation needs capital that Colonialist Powers plundered from their colonies and worked their slaves.
Anyway, many inventions came from or were assisted by foreigners whose PLUNDERED and IMPOVERISHED home nations don't have the capital to invest in the R&D for these projects and their contributions not acknowledged until a century later.

The Chinese Birdman Who Got U.S. Aircraft Giant Boeing Flying

It isn't well known outside aviation circles that the first engineer at U.S. aircraft maker Boeing almost a century ago was a man from China, Wong Tsu – and his story is one that doesn’t sound possible in the current era of distrust between the two nations.
Mr. Wong’s hiring by Boeing produced almost immediate results.

Chien-Shiung Wu Is the Manhattan Project Physicist Who Succeeded Where Fermi Failed
In 1944, she joined the Manhattan Project, the famed research program conceived by Albert Einstein and Enrico Fermi to develop an atomic bomb.
Wu actually made a breakthrough where Fermi himself had struggled—she developed a way to enrich uranium ore that helped create large quantities of fuel for the atomic bomb.

Your completely dumb mindset is EXACTLY why innovation and invention has had a hard time taking hold in Asia over the last few centuries.

You really think large amounts of money is the reason for inventions and innovation?

The Wright Brothers never finished high school. They were simple bicycle makers. Nobody gave them a nickel.

You think the first web browser was written by a man who had access to tons of money? More money than anybody in Asia? Were you all that poor in 1990?

You think the zipper on your clothes only came about because somebody had tons of money to research it? Really? Oh and add the click-snaps on clothes too.

Inventions and innovations aren't just limited to things that take entire companies to figure out.

Afraid the dumb one is you.
The Chinese invented and produced many things, including paper, compass, silk, pocelain, bronze, iron, gunpowder and printing.
The Chinese came up with the helicopter idea first but it is for a toy.

Without huge capital invested to produce safe to fly aircrafts, you may want to fly around the world in the plane made by the Wright Brothers.

And talking about flying, you have to thank a Chinese Engineer Wang Tsu.
But of course he works for the the ones with capital, Boeing.

Thomas Edison contributed to the invention of the light bulb, but he died broke.
Its people with capital who made the mass production of inventions and innovations possible.

I will let your long long list speak for itself on the accomplishments China has given mankind

I will let your long list speak for itself.
That list I gave which is the more significant ones among many other things because of their importance to the modern society that made other inventions possible.
I will elaborate on a few of those Chinese inventions.
The compass that made navigation and travel possible.
Porcelain, that made ceramics used in medical, cutting tools and many high heat and hard wearing surfaces.
The importance of Bronze, Iron and Steel should be obvious unless one is EXTREMELY IGNORANT.
