One Lac Pakistani Workers Required in Qatar said Qatari Ambassador, Saqar Bin Mubarik. He was talking to National Commission for a technical and vocational training meeting, held with Pakistani officials. The agenda before the commission was to discuss possible venues for cooperation and also to highlight the progress made by this sector.
The executive director of training commission, Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema briefed Representative of Qatar on the key areas of development.
Ambassador of Qatar also shared the sheer desire of Qatari government for One lac Pakistani Workers Required in Qatar to take part in development and construction projects related to 2022 FIFA, Football world cup. They want maximum workers to come from Pakistan. Pakistan already adds a great majority of people in its international pool of workers, working abroad particularly, Gulf States.
Zulfiqar further emphasized that Government is making every effort to update and upgrade reforms in TVET sector. To improve quality, international standards are being followed to adapt our workers to exhibit skills with all basic fundamentals. Meeting the need for every organization and country.
Qatari Ambassador lauded the initiatives undertaken by the Pakistani government to improve this sector on par with contemporary requirements.
He acknowledged the determination, commitment and hard work of skilled Pakistani workers. They have a very good track record of performance in various projects in Qatar. And we are, therefore, willing to enhance our cooperation with this sector further, to meet the requirement of skilled workforce in Qatar.
Meeting ended on a note of thanks from Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema to Ambassador of Qatar. Also, he appreciated the acknowledgment of Qatari government and assured them of cooperation and support in acquiring skilled workforce from Pakistan.
