The impact is clearly visible however the target being just a pontoon based, the projectile seems to rip through it with sheer terminal velocity.

Sir JF-17 fired missile at pontoon based target which it takes with great accuracy while ship based missile hit the old ship so there is a difference between both impacts.

Missile was tested with live warhead but JF-17 fired missile at pontoon based small target which it took with great accuracy but due to small target missile went through it and falls in sea.

So, the seeker worked, the fuse didnt. The PN C802 also hit the pontoon target, and exploded as it should.

This is the missile grazing the reflector, the remaining fuel catching fire. This is not the explosion fo the warhead. Look at the second explosion.

Then it wont be a test. PAF ordered complete weapon systems from China. The weapon is complete. This is a fine failure.

I think the navigation is brilliant. Just that the fuse failed to actuate. It happens to in-service systems really, i dont think its a big deal.

BTW, why not test multiple missiles (at least 2) from JF-17? Just to overcome these fuse failures and to ensure the viability of weapon system.

Indeed. The weapon navigated perfectly. Its a new system so these are teething issues.
