This is the normal formation for the fly past.

That is the PAF JF-17 low visibility paint job. All four have PAF markings under the wings and on the tail.

So these belong to a Kamra test squadron...will they be retained by Kamra, or transferred to the first operational fighter squadron?

One can see the RD-93 engine is still not smoke free when accelerating...

RD-93B is not installed on these Jets.... Not Yet!

I was responding to the question whether these were Chinese or Pakistani to which I said the paint scheme is the low-visibility PAF scheme.

The Four or all eight probably do belong to the TEF at Kamra. I doubt test aircraft would go to operational sqns.

These are part of planes to take part during 23rd March parade. On 20th March full dress rehearsel shall take place. These hoepfully shall be part of it.

World leaders extend greeting on Pakistan Day

ISLAMABAD, Mar 22 (APP): World leaders have greeted President Pervez Musharraf on Pakistan’s national day on March 23. Queen Elizabeth II of Britain, President George W Bush of the United States of America and Queen Beatrix of the Royal Kingdom of Netherlands in their separate messages to President Pervez Musharraf conveyed their best wishes and greeted the people of Pakistan. Queen Elizabeth II in her message congratulated the people of Pakistan on the celebrations of Pakistan day. She also extended her “best wishes for the happiness and prosperity of the government and people of Pakistan in the coming year.” President George W Bush in his message said “the people of the United States and the people of Pakistan have a long history of cooperation for common goals.” President Bush said “We look forward to continuing to work cooperatively with Pakistan to advance democracy and to combat the common scourge of terrorism.” Queen Beatrix in her message greeted the people of Pakistan and conveyed her best wishes for the well being of the people of Pakistan.

Pakistan Day to be celebrated in befitting manner

ISLAMABAD: The government has arranged several events to celebrate Pakistan Day (23rd March) falling on Sunday (Tomorrow) in a befitting manner.

The events to be arranged including rallies of Girl Guides, Boy Scouts and students, exhibition of documentary films for school children and the public in cinema houses.

Qirat contests, debates, essay competitions to be organized all over the country and prizes will be awarded to winners.

Mushairas will be held at provincial capitals at the direction of respective Provincial Governments. Sweets will be distributed at orphanages and Darul Amans throughout the country.

All radio and TV stations will broadcast and telecast special programmes on the day in which well-known workers of Tehrik-I-Pakistan will be invited to participate.

Governors and Chief Ministers will host receptions at the Provincial Capitals. People belonging to all walks of life will participate in Pakistan day celebrations.

March 23 a day of renewal to the country: Governor Balochistan

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Zulfiqar Ali Magsi said that the 23rd March is the day of the renewal of pledge to the country and there is need to play the role for improving it.

He said this in his message on the eve of the Pakistan Day.

He said that the day of March 23 has a historic importance because on the same day, the Muslims of the sub-continent had begun their movement of achieving Pakistan under the dynamic leadership of the Quad-I-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

The governor said that the historic resolution was passed on this day 68 years ago through which the establishment of an independent Muslim state was demanded for the Muslims of the majority areas of the sub-continent.

He urged the young generation to recognize the importance and the value of the independence and perform the heavy duties, with all their ability and hard work, assigned to them in respect of the security, solidarity and prosperity of the country.

Highest security measures for military parade on Pakistan Day

ISLAMABAD: Highest security measures have been arranged for the parade of the armed forces on the eve of the Pakistan Day, being celebrated today.

SSP Islamabad Syed Kalim Imam told that the internal security duties would be performed by the jawans of the Pakistan Army while the area around the parade would be looked after by the security division which would be helped by more than 800 officials.

Besides, more than 49 places in the city have been cordoned off where voer 4,000 police officials will perform security duty.

He told that 1,060 suspects have been arrested during the last week whereas 25 proclaimed offenders have also been arrested.
