Officer Assaulting a Peaceful Female High School Student in South Carolina

That would explain why no one in the classroom seemed surprised.

Apparently, the student kept using her cellphone despite being told not to do so in class. She then refused to hand over the phone to the teacher. The teacher went to the vice-principal who came to class and asked the student to either give up her phone or leave the class. The student refused to do either. Only then was the officer called and she refused to obey his orders to leave the class room. The officer then used his training to remove her from the room, with no injuries to her. Two students were arrested formally. The investigation continues.

Even if she was, this is not the way to treat her, especially by the police officer. U.S policemen are quite famous when it comes to assaulting or shooting an innocent.

I think Pakistani police surpass American Police when it comes to brutality and corruption:

peaceful? why do you think the cop was called for in the first place. you think he just randomly went to that classroom to pick on this peaceful girl??

:rofl::rofl:
Lol she literally just sat on a chair. She didn't threaten the cop in any way.

She refused the requests of the teacher and the vice-principal to leave the class given her use of her cellphone and then refused to listen to the officer who was responsible for carrying out the order of the vice-principal to remove her from the class room. Quite the disruptive student she was, actually.

So let me get your thinking correct...

If a man rob a bank, the cop is not allowed to do anything because the man is not threatening the cop in any way.

Got it...

Is that how police works in Pakistan and Canada ?

In Canada, they will have coffee together to have a friendly discussion over the matter. In Pakistan, the policeman gets a cut of the proceeds. :D

"Videos taken by students and posted online show Fields warning the girl to leave her seat or be forcibly removed on Monday. The officer then wraps a forearm around her neck, flips her and the desk backward onto the floor, tosses her toward the front of the classroom and handcuffs her.

Lott pointed out at a news conference that the girl can also be seen trying to strike the officer as she was being taken down."

"Lt. Curtis Wilson told The Associated Press in an email to “keep in mind this is not a race issue.”

“Race is indeed a factor,” countered South Carolina’s NAACP president, Lonnie Randolph Jr., who praised the Justice Department for agreeing to investigate.

“To be thrown out of her seat as she was thrown, and dumped on the floor … I don’t ever recall a female student who is not of colour (being treated this way). It doesn’t affect white students,” Randolph said."

In todays world the Race Card trumps logic, if she was white nobody would say a thing. :coffee:

Stereotyping and ignorance is the root of it.

This is just one of the many reason why we have cops in schools. Especially in urban area high schools with high African American enrollment. Scum like these are prevalent, out of control, have no desire to learn and on a superhighway to either gang banging or McDonald's. Constant fighting and insubordination is the norm so cops are called in as an authority figure they so desperately need. Immediate expulsion for such outbursts and fighting in class is the only appropriate thing, but that is not an option because public schools are obligated to take in every basket case even though all they do is cause distractions for other kids.
