Israel is a very developed country, a member in the OECD. It has a flourishing and vibrant economy, it hardly relay on charity - unlike a certain country which receive a constant flow of aid from the US and SA and China and international organisation and still have a broken economy and remained a failed state.

Obama is not on the fence at all - he is firmly against granting Palestine recognition as a member state - See, Obama's argument is that you first need a lasting peace - friends, there is nothing lasting in this world, change is the only constant. So the Palestinians really don't have a choice in this matter, if the US goes ahead with the veto, it is on the US, but US or no US, there will be a Palestinian state and what peace may or may no exist, OUGHT to be informed by the vote of the US - Erdogan has it just right, it is not an option but an obligation -- It does not matter how much more the Palestinian will give the Israel, tomorrow the Israeli will be crying for more, and the next day for even more - Palestine cannot be a threat to the Israeli state, it is the arrogance and the avarice of the Israeli state and it's sponsor, that may be the undoing of Israel -- Yes, we know of all the American weapons and the threat to use them --- The world is past these things, it is no accident that the US has lost as much prestige and moral authority as it has, it's no accident.
