What's new

obama and kim jong-un - are they different??

Yet still EU has problems and loves to impose sanction and restrictions upon countries testing nuclear weapons other than them.Like US and every other country on earth,North Korea holds the right to strengthen and equip herself with most advanced weapons: Be it hydrogen bomb or whatever.
Let me tell you the other side around. If countries other than them will become powerful, then US and her allies will not be in any position to impose their points of interests upon them.Others will be free to take decisions with respect to their suitability which will break the so called unification hence disturbing the dominance of few powerful states.

regards

well said.

your post reminds me of the north korean scolding to the libyan jamahiriya during the nato invasion of 2011 - dprk essentially said "see what happens when a small progressive country like you dismantles your nuclear weapons program??"

i wish for all fission nuclear bombs to be converted to the peaceful usage in propelling spaceships ( the "nuclear pulse propulsion" method ) to very higher speeds than the chemical rockets of now, but as you said, and as gaddafi said in his 2009 uno general assembly speech, how can a few countries have nuclear weapons but other countries can't??

either all militaries should be removed of their nuclear weapons or every military that can build them should be allowed to have them.

the make amends and apologize was for your baiting and saying "foolish post".

what do you have to say about this previous post of yours...
To compare those two states and their heads is seriously got to be a joke.
besides your hypocrisy, obomba is a war-criminal and genocider... the deaths in syria and libya and the destabilization of venezuela are upon his head... he and his cohorts ( we know who they are ) must be put on trial either in the "international criminal court" or in a newly constituted court by a international people's committee... did kim jong-un invade any country and kill 250,000+ citizens just so that he could impose capitalism within a new client state situation??

bush and bliar are already declared war criminals... obomba and co. are next.

debate on merits and points. Not on flame baiting and calling names.

so what does "merits and points" mean then?? :)

you can hold your view/opinion. I have a different opinion and when you are ready with an open mind

hmm, does "open mind" mean agreeing that usa's political and economic system is the best system and usa establishment of post-ww2 is the most noble government in history??

you can hold your view/opinion. I have a different opinion and when you are ready with an open mind, we can discuss in a new thread about USA's meddling.

you are the one celebrating obomba, so i brought the facts of what obomba did and what i said is in addition to the picture in the op.

so why should we discuss usa government's meddling in a new thread??

For the purpose of this thread, comparing USA to NK, lets see how many peoples lives had NK helped make better.

how about the homeless people in usa?? why does every post-ww2 usa government spend money to produce more and more weapons and wage wars instead of providing homes to its own citizens??

like i said before, in dprk housing is a free facility because it is considered a human right in that socialist country.

look at this[1] tragic case from usa from 2014...
A New Jersey woman who worked four jobs, who sometimes “wouldn’t sleep for five days,” according to a co-worker, died Monday while napping between shifts in her car on the side of the road.
TagsHealth, Accident, USA, Economy, Police

Maria Fernandes died in her 2001 Kia Sportage after inhaling carbon monoxide and fumes from an overturned gas container she kept in the car, according to the New York Daily News.

The 32-year-old Newark woman pulled into a WAWA convenience store lot in Elizabeth, New Jersey for a nap early Monday. She left the car running. The carbon monoxide and gasoline fumes were the likely cause of death, authorities said.
Fernandes emigrated to the United States from Portugal. She was beloved by co-workers at the Penn Station Dunkin’ Donuts in Manhattan, who called her a model employee.

“She used to work like three shifts every day,” Parth Patel told NJ.com. “Sometimes she wouldn’t sleep for five days.”

Fernandes also logged shifts at the chain store’s Linden and Harrison, New Jersey locations, co-workers said.

“She was a very sweet person. A hardworking person,” said Ravina Ramjit. “She was always joking around with everybody.”

Co-workers said Fernandes often sang Michael Jackson songs at work, mimicking his dance moves on the job. She had planned to take a break from her jobs this Friday to celebrate Jackson’s birthday at a Central Park memorial, according to NJ.com.
About 7.5 million Americans are working more than one job, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Those jobs often leave people short on income compared to full-time work, said Carl Van Horn, director of the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.

"These are folks who would like to work full-time but they can't find the jobs," Van Horn said. "They wind up in these circumstances in which they are exhausted. More commonly it creates just an enormous amount of stress.”

Following the recession that began in 2008, many Americans were shuffled into part-time employment, working two or three such jobs to make ends meet.

"The average person who lost their job took a 10 percent pay cut (after returning to the workforce)," Van Horn said.
so in usa, if you cannot find good-paying employment, you become so stressed you may suicide or become careless about health dangers.

the above case when taken for the entire population of usa[2]...
Job stress can be fatal and contribute to the deaths 120,000 Americans a year. It can also lead to hypertension, cardiovascular disease and decreased mental health, a new study argues. It also costs tens of billions of dollars in healthcare.
In 49,000 of these deaths, the biggest contributing factor was a lack of health insurance. Unemployment contributed to 34,000 deaths, and job insecurity and high work demands contributed to 30,000 deaths.
while in dprk, medical system is free, housing is a free right and citizens need not suicide, die or be stressed because of lack of money.

so this life-taking and anti-harmony capitalist system is what usa government wants to export to every progressive/socialist country??

I have no idea how the above is related to USA's Obama vs NK's kim. its either deflection or Off topic.

then what is the meaning of the underlined...
I am very happy with the way the internal structures of the democracy in USA works. sure it can be made better, but the amount of freedom of expression, ability to change for better and the way extremist views are NOT tolerated gives me immense faith in its future. Not so much in places where the state imposes specific versions of specific religious books which are vestiges of the medieval and stone ages. no thank you.

@jamahir you should consider immigration to NK. maybe that will open your eyes. However, I see many people wanting to come to USA/UK/EU and not exactly lining to go to NK

i do want to work with dprk and to begin with, i have a open source computer design project, and i have been establishing contact with a senior member of one of the communist groups in my town in india and that can help me in my objectives.

but your reactionary attitude is not quite the "debate on merits and points" that you were asking me to. :)

please answer to my previous post to you.

People always flock to places where they can make more money. That's not surprising. Back when UK ruled India and cause atrocities, I bet many Indians would have loved to live in London. That doesn't make UK's action commendable. Or when USA was enslaving black people, and when a black person would become free for whatever reason, would he or she suddenly leave America and try to reach Africa? Of course not, but does that mean that US actions were justified?

The good thing about NK is that, whatever "bad" attributes it has, it does not really affect the rest of the world. But American's bad attributes is very harmful, as it can have a severe negative impact on people from certain countries.

It seems that obama is an expert when it comes to bringing death and chaos to not only his people but those of other countries too based on the posted statistics. Kim being the better leader can be easily concluded.

One kills his own people and one kills foreign people, so both of them are butchers:p:

There's no bombing of other countries because their air force is pretty pathetic ESPECIALLY in comparison to their enemies.
He has complete control of his country so there's no lives lost to terrorists but, how many lives were lost under him?
North Koreans don't exactly have the most liberal travel plans. And only 4 Ebola cases occurred in the US from people helping other Ebola victims. The other 7 were Americans were infected in Africa and transferred to the US.
No debts but, who's going to give them money anyway?
They're so ethnically homogeneous so why would there be a race riot?
No dead soldiers but, their troops are starving.

The only thing Kim Jong Un has over Obama is a better looking wife, but I don't think his spouse has the option to say no.

hmm, so all you wanted to do was bash dprk and found excuses.

why didn't you analyze usa from what i posted in the long post in this page??

I have read about Obama and he became president through an electoral process not just declared a supreme leader . His education and credentials are significant than Kim. USA has also sent aid and started many projects in many countries. That should be a factor of comparison too.

sadly, your fanatic liking of dogs did of course mean that you would be inclined towards other wrong things too, like genociders and war-criminals like obomba. :)

as for "electoral process", the western system of "representative democracy" with per-five-year multi-party elections is not true democracy but a true waste of time and resources... the result of such exercises means a society divided into various blocs representing various parties and the party with the highest vote share ruling the society ( country ) without the consent of the people who didn't vote for that party... how can the other people be disregarded?? the paper vote ( the ballot ) is no better than a piece of rubbish that is cast into a rubbish basket.

from the "green book", part 1, "the solution to the problem of democracy - the authority of the people"...
Political struggle that results in the victory of a candidate with, for example, 51 per cent of the votes leads to a dictatorial governing body in the guise of a false democracy, since 49 per cent of the electorate is ruled by an instrument of government they did not vote for, but which has been imposed upon them. Such is dictatorship. Besides, this political conflict may produce a governing body that represents only a minority. For when votes are distributed among several candidates, though one polls more than any other, the sum of the votes received by those who received fewer votes might well constitute an overwhelming majority. However, the candidate with fewer votes wins and his success is regarded as legitimate and democratic! In actual fact, dictatorship is established under the cover of false democracy. This is the reality of the political systems prevailing in the world today. They are dictatorial systems and it is evident that they falsify genuine democracy.
POPULAR CONFERENCES AND PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES

Popular Conferences are the only means to achieve popular democracy. Any system of government contrary to this method, the method of Popular Conferences, is undemocratic. All the prevailing systems of government in the world today will remain undemocratic, unless they adopt this method. Popular Conferences are the end of the journey of the masses in quest of democracy.

Popular Conferences and People's Committees are the fruition of the people's struggle for democracy. Popular Conferences and People's Committees are not creations of the imagination; they are the product of thought which has absorbed all human experiments to achieve democracy.

Direct democracy, if put into practice, is indisputably the ideal method of government. Because it is impossible to gather all people, however small the population, in one place so that they can discuss, discern and decide policies, nations departed from direct democracy, which became an utopian idea detached from reality. It was replaced by various theories of government, such as representative councils, party-coalitions and plebiscites, all of which isolated the masses and prevented them from managing their political affairs.

These instruments of government - the individual, the class, the sect, the tribe, the parliament and the party struggling to achieve power have plundered the sovereignty of the masses and monopolized politics and authority for themselves.

THE GREEN BOOK guides the masses to an unprecedented practical system of direct democracy. No two intelligent people can dispute the fact that direct democracy is the ideal, but until now no practical method for its implementation has been devised. The Third Universal Theory , however, now provides us with a practical approach to direct democracy. The problem of democracy in the world will finally be solved. All that is left before the masses now is the struggle to eliminate all prevailing forms of dictatorial governments, be they parliament, sect, tribe, class, one-party system, two-party system or multi-party system, which falsely call themselves democracies.

True democracy has but one method and one theory. The dissimilarity and diversity of the systems claiming to be democratic do, in fact, provide evidence that they are not so. Authority of the people has but one face which can only be realized through Popular Conferences and People's Committees. There can be no democracy without Popular Conferences and Committees everywhere.

hahahahaha :D so now im supposed to like cats and Kim Jong un as they are the right choices according to you.

what can i say, this is your perception of how elections are run or about democracy. Atleast Obama wasnt handed everything in the plate. He had to work hard to make his way upwards for becoming a president

obomba's hard-work is not the point here... what is his hard-work compared to che guevara??

true democracy the way is described in my post is not only my perception but also proved by intellectual self-questioning and group debate.

what objection do you find in what i posted??

There is no democracy in N Korea to compare with.
