NEW YORK: The alleged New Jersey terrorist charged with trying to blow up a Chelsea area in New York City last weekend had spent weeks getting religious education at a Pakistani seminary, according to a news report here on Monday.

Ahmad Khan Rahami spent three weeks in Kuchlak, an area described as a long-time ‘hub’ for the Taliban, in 2011, a security official in Pakistan told the Guardian.

Rahami, 28, attended lectures at the Kaan Kuwa Naqshbandi seminary.

US authorities have been tight-lipped with details of Rahami’s trips to Pakistan, acknowledging that he was married during a visit to Quetta, the New York Post tabloid said.

Security agencies in Pakistan had tried to “hide all details” of his visits to Quetta, one anonymous official told the newspaper.

You know what.. This kind of puts their favorite argument in the shitter ..

Dawn published this -- A Pakistani news agency .... Wtf they going to say now?? :pakistan:

:D

DAWN, lol back to normal.

Next it will publish a random article against India and at the same time other siblings like GEO and Express Tribune will find something to b!tch about!.

Of course millions of Afghans live in Pakistan and untill recently they were allowed to roam around everywhere, establish businesses and what not.

Since 2011 after foreign funded terrorists have been killed and Zarb-e-Azab has become such a success, many of these NGO funded outlets have to "earn" their fundings.

he stayed more at his home in US than in Pakistan...:coffee:

Terrorism and radicalization is a process which has to take roots at an early age...its a false notion than someone can become radicalize and religious motivated to conduct terrorist...Religion is the final outlet of extremist views which are otherwise infused socially as part of culture..point in case...the pushtoon tribes which makes up majority of Talibans..have a deep rooted violent culture and Islam legitimized it by provided a faith with belief in holy war...

Millions of Muslims who live liberally dont become motivated to conduct terrorism no matter how much islamic education is imposed on them...we are all by product of our culture...

These Pakistani Madressahs should be closed.

What about RSS madrasash?

You are wrong...there are many cases where radicalization had happened very fast. Many of the Jihadis who are born and raised in west, and lived a fairly liberal lives and have radicalized in just weeks and months before carrying heinous terrorist crimes
