the wolf was nearly exterminated in the area of todays Germany since 1750. After the cold war and the lay down of the boarders fences the wolf were able again to march for and back between east and west Europe. In the 1990´s the first wolf found their home in Germany.
Today the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation claimed at the moment we have 105 wolf packs in Germany, 22 wolf pairs and 13 setteled single wolf... the estemaited number are 1.300 wolf.. this number is expect to reach 1.800 in autum 2020.
Most wolf killed today, by accidents with cars.
