Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf refuted on Saturday Muhammad Asif aka DJ Butt’s claims that the party owes him Rs80 million for his services at their sit-in in Islamabad last year.

“If DJ Butt’s allegations are proven true, we will pay him without any delay,” PTI’s committee formed to scrutinize the DJ’s claims said.

Reports suggest the committee has sent their report to the central leadership of the party, suggesting that no further amount should be paid to the entertainer whose beats punctuated political rhetoric at the PTI sit-in.

Further, Punjab Revenue Authority has issued a tax notice to DJ Butt for Rs17 million and summoned him on July 23 for neither registering himself nor paying due sales tax to Punjab government.

“As per definite information available on record you, DJ Butt have provided taxable services during the tax period mentioned above but you failed to deposit the amount of sales tax of Rs17,260,000.”

The notice issued stated DJ Butt has neither registered himself with PRA nor made payment of due sales tax to Punjab government or PRA.

“The information available on record that you DJ Butt have provided taxable services amounting to Rs107,875,000 during August 2014 to December 2014,” the letter states.

Reacting to the notice, Butt said he was already under debt for non-payment from PTI and is considering going to court against the notice.

On July 6, the entertainer claimed that the party owed him Rs80 million. “My total payment for playing music was Rs140 million but I was paid Rs60 million so far,” DJ Butt had said.

PTI has had similar unsolved disputes with others who worked for the party in the past. I personally know of a friend in Peshawar who made big posters for PTI during 2013 General Election campaign. His dues were never paid to this date. Is this the state of 'justice' PTI claims to bring for the nation?

To hell with DJ butt... He is not an international DJ. And I still can't believe he has already got millions of rupees for his services. Itna paisa to humara top film actor nai kamata yaar.. wo bhi in 3 months

.
PTI should get its stuff sorted. This kind of incompetence doesn't do good for their public image. The issue with DJ Butt should've been handled long ago, without involving the media, courts or anything.
Bhai jaan, language. Edit your post.
Lo.. Ho jao khush.
Ok, Shukriya. Rating removed.

. . .
Its obvious PTI must have agreed to a certain amount before availing his services. Now saying stuff like this money is too much etc is crap.Pay him and get it over with. If they keep doing this, in the next dharna, imran khan will be playing drums and khattak will be playing guitar lol.

.
Actually PTI trying to hide the amount get expend during dharna, 12/13 caroor
only for sound system than there are dozen other fields in which money spent, source of funds and expenditures.
There is any official report yet how much money spent during dharna and from which funds?

PTI need to really consider a reshuffle at head office. Those incompetent nincompoops sitting there are not only fleecing IK and PTI but they are all "business" type who are only riding the bandwagon for cash.

IK should be very tactical about who he selects to advise him. Because so far Shah had been the ever present vocal defender and orator of PTI on TV and in the papers, meanwhile the "advisors" inside PTi are telling IK to only issues statements.

There were some excellent opportunities for IK to really get some proper mileage : heatwave (ptivsponsored camps offering water and a place to cool down).

This puncture nonsense has really made us lose credibility, instead of this IK should have approached the government to counter Tony Irish and the Federation of Interational Cricketers continued insistence of not allowing international players to play in Pakistan because of some security consultants advice: link to article here
FICA not anti-Pakistan: federation chief - The Express Tribune

Furthermore I really don't know what the hell is going on but no one in KPK has managed to promote the centre of excellence in Disaster Management at University of Peshawar.

Pakistan is a disaster prone country and we have experience in managing all sorts of disasters both natural and man made, we now have a university that teaches a bachelors in disaster management, we should be promoting this around Pakistan and regionally.

PTI should have approached Afghanistan and invited students from there to attend short courses or full bachelors with scholarship to build brotherly relations, and this would promote our (Peshawar university disaster management centre) to the world and would be very positive for PTI and Pakistan.

These are just some ideas. I love Imran Khan he is better than most in Pakistan but he has awful, awful advisers who are killing his image and his credibility.

Every time someone calls his time lapse Khan or Charsi Khan or Jhoot/Uturn Khan I really die a little inside.

Pakistanis don't value honest people.

.
8 crore???? Is it even possible 4 him to charge dat much despite being a nobody musician. Something doesnt add-up?

He was taking care of Lights all over Dharna area + Speakers he had Vans and Trucks which used to carry Speakers and Light system... + the Speakers on Container Etc... Remember Javaid Hashmi told the 8 crore were already given to him and more 8 crore is due he earned more then he's showing

.
one should ask DJ BUTT keh usko Janta kon tha before PTI Jalsaz  he owns a expensive cars now his life style has changed from androon lahore to posh area of lahore the day he got linked with PTI  he got panicked by the notice of punjab govt of more then 1 crore rupee tax :D

. .
Its all about HIDING Dharna Cost as when Expenditures comes to Surface Questions started coming in How did they FINANCED the whole thing and then they have to explain it as well. If DJ Butt Continue with his demand PTI would come under larger Trouble because Most Likely Dharna could be Connected to all of this.

.
Sorta high services for DJ profession

2-3 Lakhs would have been reasonable compensation considering he is not making the music

we can get a real gora dj from uk next time
