NSG Membership for both India and Pakistan confirmed?

News coming from Indian sources indicate that a deal has been reached between US and China to give coveted NSG membership to both India and Pakistan simultaneously.

Sources indicate that US and Russia have batted for India while China and UK have batted for Pakistan. ( Can anyone from Pakistan or China confirm this news from their end? )

No confirmation, though it makes sense. If America wants to make its deals legal, then China too needs this, or at least prefer it.

Also, America is technically an ally of Pakistan and Pakistan has been a nuclear power for sometime now.

There are objections by other NSG members besides China. Some are not happy that non-signatories to NPT are getting admission. If this is no longer an issue, it would be welcome news indeed.

Source? Highly doubt that will happen. If India does not qualify with a stellar record what makes them think pakistan qualifies? Even Iran should be part of NSG in that case.

Any way why does India need a NSG membership when we can get everything without being one ? We can simply say we are good without it and let pakistan be the loser.

Good news...And i also support it...We should move away from confrontational attitude to rather cooperating with each other...As long as India gets into the group,it does not matter if any one gets into it or not.

India is not confronting pakistan, it is other way around. If we let pakistan get away with this it will just reinforce the idea that pakistan is India's equal which is absolute nonsense.

This totally seems fake news to me. I think neither will get it. China does not really care if Pakistan gets it. It care to keep India out. They are working overtime to undermine India.

Pakistan has made a solemn pledge and commitment to not transfer weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) to states or non-state actors. Pakistan would be signing the safeguards agreement shortly.

Indian can only lobby for its membership and not lobby to not give the membership to Pakistan.
