Once again, education is key here.

Especially in areas like the military industries, food manufacturing industries, cyberdefense industries, home renovations and building, etc, schooling is currently way lacking, starting only after highschool.

We need to teach our children more than to read and write properly before they reach their end of highschool.

This way you increase the number of students going into these vital industries, thereby get better quality graduates because children will know early on if they have talent for these industries.

These subjects could be taught in 20 minutes, 2 times a week, to educate youngsters in the basics, and see if they have talent for them.

Naturally, you gain the most quality students by applying these (pre-)highschool, all the way to kindergartens, where children could be taught the basics of keeping their smartphone safe from ransomware and bad apps, including learning how and when to apply updates safely, networking settings and what they do (you'd among other many things explain the range of bluetooth, wifi and NFC)
