Points:
1-NS proposed to visiting US CENTCOM general about operation against Taliban on both side of the borders.
2-Both CENTCOM and ISI are susceptible to such idea since CENTCOM general made it clear that in such case, the action would be indiscriminate and no-loyalties to any side would be considered.
3-NS reitrated the proposal to Hamid Karazi in Turkey. He was susceptible about the ownership of Army and ISI but NS arranged for his meeting with Gen Raheel and Gen Zaheer to show his sincerity.
4-Despite Hamid Karazi being at the end of his tenure, the value attached to him by NS and Pakistani civilians leadership has raised some eyebrows in ISI and security establishment.
5-Pakistan's foreign policy in Afghanistan has shifted from supporting a particular group to supporting the main system in Afghanistan.
6- While security establishment cannot outrightly reject the proposal made by the PM, the establishment has asked US Spy Chief to a) Block Baluch Separatist Activity in US b) Take the lead in Operation to prove its commitment to the operation. US authorities are also vary of Pakistan's willingness to track down haqqanis and afghan elements. Thus making the prospective of such operation very bleak. Despite that US Army is willing for an operation on its side after blocking the borders.
7- NS has decided to change the strategic stance on Afghanistan for pursuit of economic agenda.
8- Pakistan has conditioned the support for Syrian solution given US is on board and a greater global support is available for the solutions. This has also surprised the security establishment who were expecting little resistance from civilian government.
9- Pakistan has explicitly asked Saudis for economic and financial assistance for her economic agenda.
10- Pakistan has also reportedly asked Saudis to sack their spy chief Prince Bandar since he was maintaining contacts with Taliban while keeping Pakistani security establishment in the dark.
11- The security establishment is vary of developments but is forced to follow the civilian government's guidelines because of their pursuit of economic agenda. The official noted that the current government's agreements with China worth 50 Billion USD cannot be ignored easily. PML-N sources have put them at 150 Billion USD. Plus Karazai seems interested in Pakistan's economic agenda for Afghanistan.

Lets obliterate them, ultimate annihilation with full force projection.

First let the US & NATO clear out taliban from Afghanistan....if they can.
We will manage our own area ourself...

.
expected!
move by NS, great politics, great game?
it seems, NS wants to win hearts & minds in pentagon, white house & house of sauds , just single shot?
going against them both, will bring the reason to TTp,s existance,?
justyfication of talibans, just cause?

maybe he only wants to get rid of this menace for once, this wont win the hearts of Sauds because Hearts of Sauds is with JI = Terrorism. This is what should have been the policy of Pakistan from begining but its not too late

They could have thrown a nuke or two that would have sorted the problem out. But them evil kafirs are not as evil as we think.

.
Thats quite a strong statement, don't you agree.

Yes it is, and it's the reality to.
Swat is an example.
One has to clear his own house when required.... :pakistan:
We cannot let any foreign troops on our land at this time...

If the purpose was to kill the talibans, then they would have thrown a nuke.
