Sri Lanka pulled out of the 19th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit scheduled for November in Islamabad, becoming the fifth country to do so in the eight-nation grouping. Earlier this week, India announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would not be attending the summit in wake of the strained diplomatic relations with Pakistan after the attack on Uri on September 18.

Saarc summit has been cancelled 8 times before as soon as India and its lackeys pulled out, Saarc summit was over

SAARC is dead anyway! in 2005 India pulled out of summit in Dhaka and it was cancelled in order to bring Bangladesh to its knees. Bangladesh came to terms. But here it is altogether different ball game. it is Pakistan not Bangladesh. India is using SAARC to show its hegemony. Pakistan won't be party to it.

Insofar as Sri Lanka is concerned, it is under Indian influence like Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh etc. So citing the reason of terrorism is useless here. it is an open secret that India is using its neighbors for its nefarious design sometimes by economic blockade and sometimes by such tactics. here it is Pakistan not any other south Asian country. It is just a matter of time whenever SAARC summit will happen, it will happen in Pakistan and Chinese membership will be pushed!
