"Now or Never Movement" is a movement of overseas Pakistanis started by Dr. Nasar Shaid, a Physician Doctor associate from Columbia University, to work for the restoration of democracy, end of human rights violations, and rule of law in Pakistan.

The Movement has sponsored an essay competition for young people, how to overcome current reign of fear prevalent in Pakistan. We are not necessarily looking for essays written in classical English or Urdu, but effectiveness and actionable items to show the way forward.

Deadline has been increased to 10th November 2023.

Potential steps we can take as
A- everyday people
B- as diaspora
C- as a society, business community, bureaucracy who ever you're at a professional lvl in PK

Is a reign of fear prevalent? At least the print media seem to be quite frank and fearless in discussing all issues.
The gentleman should encourage ideas on how to revive the economy and make Pakistan a productive country.

No need for useless essays and other waist time ideas.
boycott all fauji made goods and services consume as less electricity as possible don't drive every where unless you absolutely positively have to...I am sure results will be loud and clear with in first weak and by second weak it will be a disaster for all thives
This can spread word to mouth. They cant arrest you for any of this and pain will be felt all over fauji bank accounts.
All business advertising on Geo, Samma or other sold out networks should be immediately be dealt the same boycott boycott, boycott.

Now Or Never came to Pakistan two times to play its role.
We felt Pakistanis and PTI too scared to come to streets.
What you say is important and a movement should start to do it.
But nothing will change if PTI/ppl remain in their homes and wait that Jebreel will deliver them.
We want to crack the shell using all means.

You can't progress without a fair system and fair culture. USA is greatest power not because someone gave idea how to revive economy but because of liberty, fairness, no discrimination (some events do happen, it is not Eden), no mafias.
Country is run by ppl rep, not army chief.

USA had a terribly unfair system till 1964. Still the economy was strongest. By constantly focusing on 'fairness' forever, there won't be any progress on any other front. We have a saying that growing a pie is more important that fighting over who is getting a larger slice of the pie. Right now, Pakistan's pie is so small that any amount of equalizing still leaves everyone with only a tiny scrap of a pie. If it were 10 times bigger, nobody will complain that your slice is twice as big as mine.
