All the article here says is a man in India was caught for LIKING on FB...AND YOU bring in SHIA, down syndrome case and all sorts of things just because it is wrong for a Pakistani to find liking on FB not to be a crime?!

EVEN YOU do not know! Because HALF of the crimes around the world do not get reported PLUS Indian society like mirrored on PDF as a general case HATES MUSLIMS for whatever godforsaken reasons! THAT is why PAKISTAN was born!

I second this talon. This happened with distant relatives and people we knew. Sana baji's family case was not reported because the people who went to file a report were threatened with dire ramifications and jailed. The Indians lack the will to resolve these issues. Instead their focus would be on:

1) denial and diversion of the issue (pointless debate on Gandhi in this thread even though I reiterated I respect the man)
2) blaming Pakistan (Pakistan did this or that-in this case talk of "Muhajirs" lol.
3) abusing the poster ("tink-tonk" or being in the think tank)

These are very personal things. No one will forgive India when they kill their sons and shoot 80 year olds in Kashmir but they don't want to stop it. Arundhuti Roy says something and they start calling her a "Muslim".

I worked many years with Sufferers Witness. Saw all these cases. Good thing was it gave me a chance to see how important Pakistan is, how our own families, my paternal grandfather and father escaped and how we are mistreating the land we sit on today.

And look at the username, "neutral person"... when I was deeply interested in secularism as a solution for Pakistan's religious/sectarian issues I thought why not take some ideas from more secular indians. To be truthful I could not find one! They are very communal. Secularism is just a name-there is no secularism in India.

Pls guys give it a rest. KRAIT posted news, showing that he is sensitive to such matters and actually he cares. The sort of attention twist this thread received is unfortunate.

If some atrocity, hateful happening, or plain display of dumbness gets noticed, I count it as the first step towards some sort of improvement. To shut some really hateful right-wing Indians, I use examples of female infanticide, gang rapes, and other such things. But I have yet to come across a single thoughtful person who would logically (and correctly) point out that reporting of such happenings is a sign of progress. Trolls are too busy hating to note the obvious.

Pakistanis, let such news come. Let Indians discuss them. That can only improve our understanding even if we have our opinions. A lot has changed. Opinions have a shelf life, short or long. No need to shoot the messenger.

@haviZsultan I can debate for hours. I can bring individual cases from everyday and generalize it. I can use one poster from Pakistan and generalize entire Pakistani PDF posters.

Just do one thing, give me the figures of Muslims killed by Hindus in India since 1947 or 1990s and Hindus and other minority sects of Muslims killed in Pakistan since 1947 or 1990s.

Lets see the difference. Come with stats, not your personal stories and distant relatives,

Improving understanding is fine...But labeling everything or generalizing everything to be like what a single news broadcasts is pure lack of maturity and lack of exploring! BOTH PAKISTANIs and INDIANS need to get out of their closet!

Madam ji, go to that thread which was closed about Muslim patrol, I was the one who said generalization based on some idiots is wrong. I was against Indian posters. Thing is I can take on heat against my country but other can't. Why target me for being rational.

I supported Muslims in that thread because what I saw was right, I defended India and told other posters that they focus too much wrong in India and not good in India. Pakistanis called entire India as bigot based on one news.

I never generalize but I do pint out problems in society, whether it is Indian, Pakistani or other nation that I know of.

Dear I didn't generalize, I responded in the same manner people replied. As for Shia illings, its not an isolated incident, last year 340 shias were killed in different part of Pakistan. Also, in tribal regions, people are kidnapped and their bodies are dumped in bags on regular basis. I told you the repetitive problem. Did you see me generalizing entire Pakistan as Mullahs. See I have posted so much here so you can imagine how much I have read on this forum. I can give many names which I think are real Pakistani, not the ones portrayed by Western Media and even Indian Media.

Don't take it otherwise. But sometimes you have to how comparison so that other person can look at the situation from different perspective. I know many don't like it but I can't make anyone see the whole picture if I don't present him the other side of the story. Sorry, if you feel bad, I never intended to offend you or anyone.
