If PMIK is saying that after 31st, there wont be any air strikes in Afghanistan, then it only leads to one thing that military flights from Qatar and Diago Garcia or any other source, will not be flying over Pakistani airspace. Unless you lot can find some other route, we wish you all the best.

Trump administration contacts which you mentioned were a different matter, we had the Saudis set up IK’s meeting via Jared Kushner. Biden is a different man, he knows the region and Pakistan far better, and we IK if given a similar opportunity would follow through wholeheartedly, although Trump is easier to influence in person. There’s a reason our national security establishment has been on overdrive recently shoring up a “consensus” at home, briefing the government, opposition, and media separately. Not to bring up ancient history, but back in 98’, when the US launched Tomahawk CMs at Al Qaeda, they didn’t get launched from Space, they were launched from the Arabian Sea.

Our then “”””low level official””” COAS Jahangir Karamat, was told in person over on the evening of the day of the strikes by Joseph Ralston to expect the CMs over Pakistani airspace imminently. Which campaign? What public consumption? If you look at his stance even from the time he was a one man party to now being a PM, it hasnt changed. He said there is no military solution to Afghanistan, he called US out on their statement on democracy during his dharna. What you should be saying is that we as Pakistanis and the world in general are not use to a Pakistani leader standing up to the americans the way he has.
Let me rephrase something i wrote in another thread to another guy with handle Fools something that Pakistani leaders have bent over for far too little. If today you see someone standing up, than be thankful to Allah swt and not complain or be skeptical all the time just because it was the other way round in the past.

Obviously, we take loans from them to do THEM a favor. Otherwise all their money would just sit there and do nothing. Obviously now they get interest payments from us. Because we care about them.
