ISLAMABAD, Jul 26 (APP): Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday emphasized that Pakistan and Norway should explore possibility of mutual cooperation in capacity building of Law Enforcement Agencies, especially police and FIA. He was talking to Ambassador of Norway in Pakistan, Ms. Cecilie Landsverk, who called on him here and exchanged views on bilateral issues. The Minister underlined that Pakistan highly values its relations with Norway and praised security system, democratic norms and rule of law in Norway.
He said the government of Pakistan Muslim League (N) is keen to work closely with Norwegian government to further strengthen bilateral cooperation for benefit of people of both the countries.
The Ambassador thanked the Minister for his welcome and assured him of all possible support and technical cooperation in strengthening capabilities of police and other LEAs.
The Ambassador also praised positive role of Norwegians of Pakistani origin in economic development and said that Norway takes the contribution with great respect.
