Northern Cyprus: The new destination for Turks fleeing Turkey

The liberalism of Turkish Cyprus is as history as it is in Turkiye.
Many things have happened in KKTC(Turkish Cyprus) and not in a good way,for instance, they have built many many new mosques,Erdogan is turning the liberalism into Islamism.
Off course some fanboys will deny this but we know better.

Please can you tell one law put by AKP who restrict your liberty ? Or women liberty ? Be specific please!

This is what I don't like with opposition, they are never specific, always using metaphor rather than saying this law or that reglement made by AKP today restrict our right.

The only thing I can think is banning alcool nears school and religous place or restricing abortion, but you can find similar rule in US or France.

Normally,i would see the underlined part as an insult because that is the way my country was for the last 90+ years,we dont know it any different from what you described it to be,but i know what you meant.

One word to both Turkiye and Turkish Cyprus,

Not an insult per second. Just an observation. Of all the countries I have been to in the middle East (mostly Arab ones) Turkey was(I believe things haven't changed much from the last time I visited, might be wrong but I doubt so) the most open and liberal in terms of their liberal nature, treatment and laws towards women (gender equality), and even towards laws regard LGBT etc etc. The one country I found close to Turkey in terms of its liberal nature in some aspects was the UAE the rest were nowhere near

I haven't been to Iran, but from what I have heard, and red Turkey is still far more liberal and open than them. :)

Turkey is still one of the most liberal countries in the region, no doubt. But some things changed. There is now pressure on people. People being harassed for wearing the wrong outfits, drinking, eating during Ramadan.
