As uncle of Ahmad Massoud, Ahmed Wali Massoud and brother Ahmed Zia Massoud and his brother-in-law Salaudin Rabbani are supporting Taliban takeover and want to be part of future administration, I think Ahmad Massoud is either a fool or wanting a bargain chip, that is purpose of rebellion or resistance in Panjshir. Amrullah Saleh is a RAW asset, He is being supported by Indian deep state to allow some base camp to destabilise Pakistan and have a stake anyhow in Afghanistan. NDS operatives and Anti Taliban elements are gathered through this against hatred for Taliban and Pakistan. I think Panjshir is not easy to keep if it comes under siege for long. No support from Air or land as it is surrounded by Taliban held areas. Nearest border is Pakistan some 500 KMs. I think Ahmed Massoud should also join his uncle and brother's cause. Amrullah Saleh would be real challenge in longer run if he is allowed to spread further disinformation and breeding international terrorism in name of resistance. Time to sanction him.

Agreed. Ahmad Massoud has an opportunity to join the new regime and stabilize Afghanistan. Amrullah Saleh is a delusional idiot. Who in Afghanistan would join him today after what just happened. He will desperatly attempt to get the RAW and CIA to help him destabilize Afghanistan. He is enemy number one for the emirate.

I thought the Panjshir was captured by the Taliban. Would they not have been able to detect movement of such hardware?

Anyway, without the backing of any of the neighbouring countries, CIA and RAW can not do much. Such support needs to come in from somewhere. Right now, all are busy and waiting to accept Taliban rule.

The buy in and selling out of narratives come with time. It happened in Afghanistan — a place Indian consulates used to fund, train and stage its terrorist proxies against Pakistan. What is the status of Indian consulates today?

2. You are talking about the si called Indian terrorism again. Now, to answer it, if I talk about FATF, then you would say it isnt relevant. I don't know how to carry on with this conversation now.
3. Let EU talk to the Taliban, we dont care. I would very much like it if India decides to not talk with Taliban; but if the recent reports are anything to go by, this isnt the case. And I personally find it very unfortunate and shameful.

No it did play the double game. I never said it didnt.
But officially you were supporting the US led NATO against the Taliban for 20 years. So there are 2 things:
1. This didnt antagonize the Taliban even when you played the double game (they seem to be very tolerant these days. May be they want to get all the support they can)

2. Pakistan lost all credibility of a genuine partner (at least for the NATO if not for anyone else)

Europeans will act in their self-interest on FATF just like they are doing on Afghan refugees unless India accepts 2-3 million Afghan refugees. But as we all know India is a no show.
