What's new

North-west Iranics

.
If you've never seen dark people amongst Pashtuns or Dards, then I don't think you've traveled the country very well.

You can tell more so by the facial features than color of skin.

punjabis where i live have generally "nord" features and much more refined compared to some pathans i have seen.

.
Well, if you're dark it's pretty much guaranteed that you're not Pashtun, from GB or Dardic.
Not really. Hes right phenotype means shiz when it comes to Pakistan. I had cousins who had brown eyes when married to someone with also brown eyes, their children ended up with deep blue eyes. Countless other examples. Now a days phenotypes dont say much, although genetics are very much different.

. .
interesting, but i still think that majority of baloch are assimilated people/east Iranics who adopted the baloch language of migrating Kurds.

they also share tribal names with southern pathans from Kandahar, quetta etc.
What's your point, get to the point. Stop beating around the Bush. Let me guess, baloch, and pakhtoons look like the rest of pakistan and the rest of pakistan looks like India, thus I also, an Indian looks like a baloch. Am I right wannabe?

Because Pathans outside of historic Afghanistan (Afghanistan+KPK+Balochistan) are Pathans by patrilineage only. Most of them have mainly non-Pashtun ancestry.

why do you think that looking like rest of pakistan is insulting ? are you suffering from some kind of superiority complex towards punjabis and sindhis ?

i said genetically majority of Baloch are assimilated East Iranic and not north west Iranics.

I am repeating what ever Indian vomits on this form, dont play smart with me boy. They are my brothers we may not be linked by blood but we are linked with spirit. Also what are you? Are you of these lands that we are taking about? If your not I would stop ranting.

i am not playing smart, maybe you think like that because you are a pathan.

if anything i was having a meaningful conversation with your pakistani brother until you came and start taking offence without even understanding my point.

i guess you are right.

being an Indian i know very little of those people beside what my friends across the boarder tell me.

Also what are you? Are you of these lands that we are taking about? If your not I would stop ranting.

I have ancestry from Punjab and Kashmir, family left West Punjab and Karachi after partition and settled in India.

That's actually bullshit when you consider that Pashtun race originated from Sulaiman Mountains.

This is what was told to me once by a Pashtun historian that used to be on this site named Luffy.

All of Pakistan is linked by blood. See my previous map, almost every Pakistanis is a mix of Eurasian and South Asian ancestry.

another filthy thread.

Why?

That theory is nonsense lol, the ancient Greeks have documented their interactions with the Pashtuns.

Well I did trust that guy because he was very well read, but then I am not an expert on Pashtuns. So I guess I have no place to speak on this.

The way it goes is that Pashtun folk-lore says they're all descended from Qais Abdur Rashid, who came from Ghor province (Afghanistan) and is buried in the Suleiman mountains. Make of it what you will.

Pashtun is a race, it's a group of people of different races. That share the same culture and language.

Nope, wrong. We don't say that at all. I am from the mohmand tride, but specifically my family tree is in the Peshawar museum. My grandpa having political power got hold of it. It was translated from Persian and it translated that, we were the kids of the king of Baghdad. Also that we were sayyid. So we may say we are of some tride, but realistically we are a mix of different people that came to these lands.

Apologies, but you have to understand where my frustration came from. You can go find any trend on the genetics of pakistan and you will see Indians jumping up and down. You gave that vibe too, but if you want to gave meaningful discussion, then ya-bismillah.
