The Americans are India's hubby. This is an open secret by now. The Americans would go out of their way to please Hindustan. They have done it since Obama's years when India appeasment began. This has more to do with US being India centric and little to do with Indian charms.

Even without the CAASTA and Ukraine conflict, 2027-28 would have been the last time a big defence deal would have been signed with Russia. It has already been in works since long.

You will see small deals like some ammunition, some spares , some second hand/stored equipment, etc for a decade atleast though. And USA will accept it.
