No Pakistani soldier or citizen died in the air strike on a terror camp at Balakot in Pakistan in February, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said on Thursday, 18 April.

Addressing women party workers in Ahmedabad, she said Indian military was given a "free hand" in the operation but was clearly told that no Pakistani citizen should be killed and also there be "not even a scratch" on the Pakistani Army.

“Our armed forces were told to target only Jaish-e- Mohammed which was behind the Pulwama terror attack and they did just that - destroyed their camp and returned,” the senior BJP leader said.

The IAF had struck a Jaish-e-Mohammad terror training camp in Pakistan on February 26, in response to the February 14 Pulwama attack in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed.

Swaraj said the air strike was carried out in self-defence.

"When we carried out the air strike, we had told the international community that we took the step only in self- defence," she said.

She said the entire international community supported India over the air strike.

Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Swaraj said he has emerged as a top international leader who sets the agenda for the world.

On the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, Swaraj said the then Congress-led UPA government had failed to take along other countries to isolate Pakistan despite the fact that 40 persons belonging to 14 countries were also killed in the strike.

Pakistan had objected to the invitation extended to India for a meet of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Abu Dhabi last month, but the host county UAE snubbed Islamabad, she said.

finally accepted truth.where is amit shah? hiding his face? lol

What is news in it ? Thiis has been indias position from day 1.
No citizens or soldiers killed, only LET terroirsts are targetted and killed.

There are three major groups.
Pak military
Pak civilians
Terrorists

What it means is neither Pak military nor Pak citizens were casualties of the strikes. There is a third group that we call terrorists that were the actual casualties of the strike.

“Civilians in the vicinity or surrounding areas were not affected in any way, so we have been saying the strike we carried out after Pulwama suicide bombing was not a military action,” she added.

So ... what country are those alleged LET members citizens of?

There is a difference between a civilian and a citizen.

I wonder how using military equipment/aircraft by a military institution by violating airspace without approval from both the other country nor the UN can be considered non military action?

BTW, a civilian was injured as his house windows shattered and hit his head.

To India: You have to lie a thousand times more to cover a single lie.

Non-military because Pak army or Pak civilians were not the targets.

We have decided that enough is enough and also that we don't need to take approvals to defend ourselves, hence why we also called it "pre-emptive". So, if you want to, you are going to have to protect your own sovereignty.

What was the lie. Indian jets bombed a part of Pakistan mainland. And pak army is not letting free access to the madrassa area. Why is a children's school even surrounded by pak army ? Kindly explain.

IaF violated our airspace and bombed some trees. No sovereign country can accept this. Hence we violated your airspace and bombed Brigade HQ on 27th.

How about you research it yourself. Nobody believes the narrative India is feeding to its public. Not Pakistan, not the rest of the world.
