ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan Sunday said that baseless allegations levelled by Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khursheed against the Pakistan Army and the ISI were against diplomatic norms.
Chaudhary Nisar, in a statement here, said the such uncivilized language used by the Indian rulers and politicians at a time when Pakistan was trying to improve relations with the neighbouring country, showed that they did not desire better ties.
He regretted that all the efforts by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to improve ties with India, were being undone by the Indian government levelling baseless allegations.
He said,No foreign ruler has the right to mention artificial differences between the Pakistan government and armed forces at any international forum.
He said the Indian Foreign Minister should better pay his attention towards affairs in the occupied Kashmir, whose some specific leaders, according to a former Indian general, were bribed by the government.
He said the Pakistan Army and the government were on the same page. There was consensus on all international and national matters as the Army Chief had mentioned many times.
The Pakistan Army was playing its role with full responsibility, which seemed to be not likened by the Indians.
