Haha, they're sweet and flavorful! Literally stacked my cart full in desserts and sweets....LOL!!!

Got another question for you: have you found any nice hot pot restaurants there, mate?

what is all that stuff? whats the round fruit or vegetable?

The round fruit is what the
Chinese call "Lychee". If I had to describe the laste it's like pomegranate and sweet plum. So good, buddy! The other one that looks pink and spiky, they call that "Dragonfruit", but the guy selling it to me called it "Long Zhu Guo" @rugering , did i say it right?

Sure bro, I went with my friends for lunch at a restaurant called Helena Wu's; superior cooking ! Pricy but so good , the servings are also gracious...!

@Nihonjin1051

You might want to visit the city of dreams New York ! :bounce: It has cuisines from world over.

I'll have to ! The Chinatown here in Philly is pretty big , too. Lots and lots of goodies! What's also interesting is that there is a growing Koreantown close to Upper Darby area in Philly.

Too bad there's no Japantown...:(

Are you sure this is Guangdong food? Especially the last one, exactly the same dish I ate in Vietnamese restuarant.

The name of the restaurant was Helena Wu's. Name of the dish was 臘味煲仔飯

You don't have to go to Chinatown for Lychees. They are grown in Florida.

Really? I didn't know they grew this in Florida. Btw, fresh lychee is the best. Its good for your skin and my Zhonguoren 'mama' (my buddy's mom) told me apparently it does wonders in helping control blood pressure and cholesterol.
