It is official. Dr. Ashton B. Carter has been chosen as United States’ new Secretary of Defense. He will be our 25th Secretary of Defense following Former Secretary Chuck Hagel. Secretary Ash Carter was sworn in this position by Vice President Joe Biden today, Feb 17, 2015, at the White House after which he resumed his duties at the Pentagon.
