New #Islamabad International Airport will be the first to host #A380 aircraft in the country. Scheduled #Emirates flight will be 3 hours between DXB-ISB starting July, 2018.

The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner which is the world's largest passenger airliner.

The airports at which the aircraft operates need to have upgraded facilities to accommodate it.

The management are dreaming big when they cant even chew normal carriers?

.
My question would be how feasible it is to fly such a large aircraft on short regional flight?

Its not. Aircraft like A380 are designed for long legs and low cycles compared to lets say a 737 or A320. But Emirates doesn't gives a rats ***, their aircraft are only meant to fly for half of their lives in order to keep the fleet new and up to date.

It has to do with the number of passengers and type of passengers. There are a lot of flights between Islamabad and Dubai because Dubai acts as a hub so many are connected flights.
If there is large number of business and first class travellers, then A350, A380 and B747, B777, B787 etc airplanes are the best. However, Pakistan should this airport to get long haul direct flights to destinations like NYC, Australia, far east, etc
