Interesting. I am from tech world too. Interest in sword fighting and archery too. I own a battle ready long sword and a mamluk sword. Do both modern archery, horse back archery. and tradition recurve instinctive shooting.

Skyscrapers are obsolete. Most construction should be horizontal rather than vertical. A horizontal city with wide roads, gardens and the roads being set reasonably away from the buildings would be less life-threatening in case of earthquake and fire. I believe the Nepal earthquake of 2015 would have caused lesser casualties if the areas had been built scientifically like I described.

If they are properly built skyscrapers can withstand a lot. Also, they are more efficient as they take up less space and you need to buy less property.

I am aware of HEMA. And yes horseback archery is a lot of fun. I am definitely still a newbie there.

I enjoy strategy or simulation games, I play City Skylines, Transport fever 2 very regularly with a mix of Cold Waters and Total War: 3 Kingdoms.

I was just playing anno 1800, AOE4 and sometimes play warzone. Strategy games are favorite but these days can't find something worth playing, waiting for manor lords to be released.

- Web search on a topic i cant remember, it was many years ago, clicked on the link and entered this forum. have been hooked ever since.

- Mainly millitary tech, especially new toys from China, Turkey, Pakistan and to some degree also Gulf and Iran

- I am a geologist but currently work with road infrastructure.

6) Future plans?
To be able to live in a warmer country all year round and have enough money so that i van take care of myself and my family. Of course i want to make Allah happy and enter Paradise, if Allah wills.

Yes me too, Manor lords looks really good, I did play Anno for a while last year then got bored. I think City Skylines with all the available mods is really good. I do agree that this genre is very limited.

i did wanted to try city skylline , but dont realy knew where to begun. Its a bit complex. But yeah manor lords will hopefully be the highlight of 2022.

I got it on steam new year sale in 2020 for £10.99, its not complex at all, you must give it a go if you get a chance. Its one of those games where I lose track of time when I am playing it. Play the vanilla version first and then with the Mods it will change your simulation experience completely. I have never respected/loved a game so much as I love City Skylines, the only other titles that come close to this are Strong Hold (the original one) and Commandos.

ah commandos was one of the favorite games i have ever played, commandos 2 and red alert 2 are probably the best 2 for me. Okay i will try it, actually i didn't played it with mods before, it was just a plane base game.

Must download the traffic Mod. Its called TME (Traffic Manager: President Edition) check for the latest version. The biggest fault in vanilla version is that traffic build up eventually grinds everything to a halt, you can use this Mod to mitigate that and make some very condensed high population areas.
