No, not all.

Domestic engines are used on CRH380A (fastest), not sure what are being used for those slow ones.

It will never be used for normal "service". it is 400km/h testbed.

To me, this looks better/faster than the E5. The CRH500A is coming this year so the Japanese will have lots of competition ahead.
