DHANGADHI:
A new road is being constructed in Bajhang district of the Far-Western Development Region to connect the district with Tibet of China.

The new road with a length of around 100 kilometres would connect the district headquarters Chainpur with Taklakot of the autonomous region of China.

The 25-kilometre track has been opened up so far while public transport vehicles operate along the 18-kilometre section from Chainpur to Dhamena of the district.

“We feel that we are so near to Tibet as vehicles have arrived in Rupatola of Dhamena,” Gyan Bahadur Bohara from Rilu said, “It the government takes right initiatives to complete the road on time, Bajhang will be the major trade point in this region.”

Local shepherds of Dhalaun, Kanda and Dhuli villages are already practicing some trade activities in Taklakot for years.

“This is the shortest route to reach the Kailash Manasarovar, the holy site of Hindus and Buddhists,” Tek Bahadur Tamang of Dhuli said.

Government authorities in the district have been allocating Rs 50 million annually for the project.

“The trade point can be opened within five to seven years if the government allocates required budget with a priority,” Ain Bahadur Singh, Engineer for the Khodpe-Bajhang Road Project said.

That's what india gets for meddling too much in Nepal's own affairs, Nepal is looking to strengthen ties with a way better partner which is China.

A developing country with a mentality of a colonial master. It is not very healthy.

A two cent pinoy is jumping in joy, why are you afraid to have your countries flag, are you ashamed of it? Nepal is a free country its their wish, they can build roads, trains, even teleportation system, what has India got to do with this, if the nepalis mainly commis want bad relationship with India so be it, thank you nepal , from now on India should charge money for every thing which passes through India to Nepal, the time for free service is over.

For land borders:
Russia, Mongolia, North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Thailand, Myanmar thinks different, they want stronger partnership with China.

As for vietnam, india and maybe tiny bhutan, they are isolated in trying to create trouble in the region.

For maritime borders:
South Korea and Malaysia have no problem with China sorry to disappoint you.

Only japan and sadly the Philippines think otherwise.

Try harder indian troll.

China borders 15 countries on land, and it has border issues with only two countries, India ans Bhutan. It has not issues with the rest. In the mean time, India has problems with ALL its neighbors. Even your NE people consider you guys as colonial master.
