NDTV exclusive: Hillary Clinton on FDI, Mamata, Hafiz Saeed and outsourcing
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata to explore investment opportunities in the state. Before the meeting, Mrs Clinton was at a session at the La Martiniere School for Girls meeting with a cross-section of the people of Kolkata. Sugar loathing of how US is going to use India has its next sweatshop and regional foster daddy!

The host accent is so thick its annoying..SHe went to China, Bangladesh and India but Ignored Pakistan...her behind burning too much over supply line issue?

Wow just finished watching the interview/interaction seems like Hillary has always had a deep love for India? You can tell the way she was talking that she loves the country, was it Mr. Clinton that got the relationship between India and the US on the right track again?

you can say that, George Bush was also very instrumental.

Yes GB was important as well, but I think Mr. Clinton played a huge part when he flew to Pakistan and demanded they withdraw during Kargil? I think Hillary and Bill have always loved India, and if I am right when they visited India he was treated as a rock star? And the love affair between India and the Clinton's began?

 Yes he had a wonderful tour back then, He's been to India numerous times after that, But it was GB's tour which took the relationship really going. It Changed lot of perceptions in the US and in India.

So who would you say is more loved in India? The Clintons or Bush? I think it would be pretty even?

Didn't happen. It was Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif who flew to Washington.

The question is for what reasons? The Clintons had a more personal preference for India, Bush instead just saw it as a future market for the US economy and as a defence partner to counter China. That are the reasons why he pushed the nuclear pact and not because he liked India so much. Actually, that was the only thing he did right in his presidency!

Best Tweet about this foolish person ...

#ShutUpClinton you didn't know what your husband was doing and your are claiming to know that Zahwari is in Pakistan?”

Clintons love India but dont seem to understand India's view of keeping trade relations with Iran.
