Naxals Blow up civillian bus in Dantewada. 50 Killed

Naxalites have blown up a civilian bus at Sukma Road in Dantewada. At least 50 people have been killed.

There were CRPF jawans travelling in the bus, along with civilians.

Early reports said policemen traveling in the bus were the main targets as the Maoists had information about a police party being on it.

More details are awaited.

Remember for every new equipment you bring to the war against Naxals, our enemies are more than ready to furbish these idiots with a counter weapon. So let this be a home ministry subject and we need to tackle this without raising the stakes.

There have been several such voilent campaigns in India and the Naxals are the least of the threat being the rag tag group that they are today.

It is more important for us to alienate the Naxals from the Tribals and then go after them. This is our own country that we are talking about.

First for 60 years we forgot that there are these tribals and now when the voilence has surfaced and now you suggest that we go and bomb the hell out of the naxals and thereby as a collateral damage accept further tribals alienation.

This is going to be bloody. Let us be prepared and understand that this is going to be get worse before it gets better.

The need of the hour is to localize the problem and not raise the stakes. If the naxals shoot down any helo it is a big cheer for them. If the Police kills even 100 it is no loss for them because they feed on the support from the Tribals. At the moment they are being alienated and only with that can we eradicate this Naxal menace. That is how they were handled in AP and that is how we should go about now too.

There is no quick fix to this problem.


For the moment and unfortunately the most important: may God bless the souls of our jawans and officers that were martyred in this attack by these SOB's. May their families find peace and hope that we as a country do not forget the poor families of our jawans and they are given enough compensation so that the families are not destroyed by this loss of a whole generation for them.

We should kill the naxals and the tribals who support them. The tribals are equally responsible for providing support to the naxals. If we dont kill them soon, this movement may spread into our cities.

If we look at history no terrorism is quelled with out military action--- LTTE,KHLISTAN in punjab,IRISH (IRA) in Europe history is full of examples .
have to turn tables on them,bring fear to their eyes .
