Imran Khan has said that it has been confirmed that the United States was not behind his ouster.
While addressing a live audience from his residence in Lahore via video link, Khan said that former army chief General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa had admitted to toppling his government.
The PTI chief accused the current rulers of using all options to stop him from coming into power again. He claimed that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has proposed few conditions including his disqualification and imprisonment.
Imran Khan said that he was astonished after knowing about the former army chief’s confessions regarding the
toppling of the PTI government. He further said that the former army chief was a ‘super king’ as he had ‘superior powers’.
Imran Khan said, “National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was being controlled by the then-army chief during his tenure, and I was the one who was facing all sorts of criticism.”
The PTI chief Imran Khan said that the ruling politicians are against an independent judiciary. He provoked the nation to be prepared to foil all the attempts of the rulers aimed at suppressing the rule of law.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan flayed former premier Nawaz Sharif for escaping from the polls after giving a narrative of ‘Vote Ko Izzat Do’, adding that the current rulers are causing harm to the country just to gain personal benefits.
While highlighting the significance of the judiciary, Khan said that the entire nation is optimistic that the judiciary will play its role in protecting the Constitution.
The country will suffer badly if the wrong decisions are taken, he warned. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief said that all preparations regarding ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’ have been finalized and date of commencement will be announced soon.
