What's new

Nawaz seems agreed with Gen Bajwa extension ....

.
It is 64 years.

Will this be the longest reign of a COAS who isn't a dictator or a martial law admin?
yes you are right its 64 but baja isn't 61 plus .... ??

& you are right in case of extension he will be the longest serving COAS without overtly imposing Martial Law

Secondly it seems situation is still fluid and changing with time again & again remember just few days ago I posted following post, so 2-3 thing out of those wish list items of SS/NS seem possible

it seems this is the case ....

As per PML-N affiliated rumour mills

- NS is not in favor of another extension
- But SS want to give another extension
- In return wanted to have such favors from Bajwa

- Delay in election for at least one year due to floods and Political emergency
- Government in Punjab & Center
- Take over of PML by sidelining Maryum faction
- & Disqualification of IK at least for 5 years
In return the favour he is offering to
PPP:
- After election Allied government in Center and Punjab in which PPP would be given even larger share in this way PPP will have Sindh Government & share in Federal and Punjab Government
- Support for revival of PPP in Punjab
- Support for PPP government in Center after 2028 election
Diesel:
- Change of KPK government specially in result of next election, in which JUI-Diesel with allied parties will have leading role
- Leading Share in Balochistan Government with allied Baloch Nationalists & Others
Bajwa
- 2 years of extension and or some role in governance as Ayub was accommodated in by Iskander Mirza, probably the position of President of Pakistan.

COAS is irrelevant now , because khan completely changed the power of Jamhoor in his favor , more bajwa stays more economy will down , no friendly countries are giving any kind of hard cash to these thugs , At the start of next installment of 30 billion dollars is waiting. From where they will pay ?

It is a burden to know before things happen, the path they are likely to take, especially when the outlook is not good.
You know my views on this. Depressing. Yesterday had a chat with someone who you can say is part of the "Deep State", folks who bleed green. Walked away even more depressed.

So majority in forces support traitor Bajwa?
If not open mutiny , signals he needs to change course can be sent other ways as well or our forces are completely blinded by loyalty to COAS instead of country.

I’d like to see the bhagora announce Bajwa’s extension.

Hope sanity prevails. The institution will suffer serious consequences for the foreseeable future if no mechanisms (either inside the army or via the political executive) are found to curtail the transgressions of a COAS.
How will sanity prevail ?? Who does that ?? I don’t think those jernails support anyone other than coas.

Pakistan has the biggest tragedy, where the establishment, directly and indirectly, controls the politics. And even mediation between political parties. On top of when so called politicians wear burqa at nite and visit GHQ to resolve their personal party diffrences.
Not only establishment, politicians are also responsible for the ongoing standoff situation.
