In 1998 Pakistan became a nuclear power and there have been many who name them selves as contributors to this nuclear bomb. But lets look at the true picture of what made Pakistan a nuclear power.

The actual credit of making Pakistan nuclear power goes to this man. Dr Abdus Salam

Born in a rural district of Jhang he studied in the rural schools and went on to bring the first Nobel Prize for Pakistan in electroweak unification theory. He came back to Pakistan and took Pakistan on the Path of becoming a nuclear power.

How Nawaz made Pakistan a nuclear power?

PML-N govt has controlled Punjab province for a very long time and it is the policies of PML-N in education which produced scientists like Dr Abdus Salam.

Lets take a look at the school in which Dr Abdus Salam studied as a bright child today. How PML-N has increased the education conditions of those school.

Even original All India Muslim League barely existed in Jhang district where Abdus Salam studied in his junior school years. Back then all government schools were run by British Raj which produced extra ordinary people like Gandhi, Nehru, Bose, Salam and other prominent people of the century. The reason being the school system was modeled after UK which already was world class at the time.
When British left and the system got under native control, they had no idea how to run these foreign institutions. They were subjects of the system not administrators. It took natives 70 years to destroy the very same educations British Raj built for them in only 10 years

This schools has no walls because, walls of this school fell victim to corruption and their bricks are in London flats.

The true power of the program was the legendary Raziuddin Siddiqui Allah bless him, he got his PHD under Einstein himself! He worked on the Manhattan Project, the British nuclear weapons program, the French nuclear weapons program and had the knowhow to leap frog Pakistan to developing a weapon.
It's tragic we may never see his likes again, a true gem.

Yeah but the nuclear program basically means the nuke weapon's program...of which NS tries to take credit of..1998. Pakistan had a nuclear program since early 50's but it was aimed at normal civilian use for example ..academic research, nuclear medicine, power generation (Kanupp) etc...but the military dimension was added later after India's nuke test in 1974.. That's when Dr Munir Ahmad Khan, Ashaq Ahmad Khan and most prominently Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan come into the picture.

Exactly bro... in fact there is a very enlightening talk by Dr Inam-ur-Rehman about the history of Pakistan's nuclear program... It is worth watching if one has time.
