ISLAMABAD: In a late Wednesday night development, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser issued production orders for Pakistan People Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique – paving way for them to attend the budget session.

Both the leaders were arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in separate corruption cases.

The opposition was agitating the issue in the lower house of parliament, paralysing the budget session. On Tuesday, the speaker had called leaders from both the treasury and the opposition to his chamber, in an effort to restore sanity to house business.

During the in-chamber session, an understanding was reached between both the sides of the aisles to let the house function normally and begin a debate on the money bill.

It was because the understanding that the house witnessed a relatively calm during the general debate on the budget.

Senior PPP leader Syed Khursheed Shah confirmed the development, saying the speaker personally informed him about the move. “Better late than never,” he remarked.

Thats why govt playing intelligently if i rem correctly its define in rules of business more dangerous and more embarrassment for govt if budget dont pass in assembly better that way one of reason calling Shahbaz Shariff return in Pakistan.Just let the budget get passed,postpone the session than unki ki production order ki chutti khatam

The building of parliament is our national asset and billions have been spent on its construction so why destroy it for these haramkhors.
They should all be gathered on a retired ship of PNS (and that will be really oooold ) for a cruise trip in the deep sea ... but then due to some technical issue the ship sinks while all of our honourable members of parliament are drunk... a sad day ... I will cry for an hour and then order the best sweets

Politics is the art of the possible. IK is making best use of what WE HAVE GIVEN HIM... a totally broke economy with every institution infested with pests and a razor thin majority which cannot get the budget approved...so it is better for us to shut up and let him do the job while he struggles to keep the sinking boat afloat and pointed in the right direction and be thankful to almighty that He sent someone to safeguard this country from going into the full bankruptcy.

They will be if we accept your suggestion but they won't become if my suggestion is followed because it is a natural disaster, an accident..the sea got turbulent and windy...
