Think about it.
Whether or not we should host it is another issue. But why should it not be in Gujarat?

It is high time that major international events move out of Delhi which has a monopoly of sorts on these things. It should be help in Gujarat which has low population density and good infrastructure compared to almost any state other barring Maharashtra - which has very good infrastructure as well.

Maharashtra has better infrastructure so does Bangalore but guju want everything for his state but I don't want money wasted in such stupid events which benefit no one other than stupid politicans in this case guju & company

Hosting Vibrant Gujarat summit is different than holding an Olympics. I am not against India hosting the olympics but we dont have the infrastructure for that. Even if we propose to build the infrastructure it will derail the balance of growth and many projects will be curtailed to focus on the olympics.

He gave AIMS and IIM to 10 states (Except Gujarat). Soon as he proposed something for Gujarat (Which is going to come after 10 years if it comes at all) , He became Gujju who wants everything for his state.

Those who are commenting against proposal and i think they want India to host olympics during their grand children's time ! By 2024, India will be on much better place on world's stage as far as infrastructure is concerned, neither india hosted such a big event.Don't think every thing like kejri and he will take back India to 1947.

Just like Bollywood, Modi is a seller of cheap escapist fantasies. The ignorant and uneducated Indian electorate will imbibe these fantasies with relish and then ask for more.

entire western / white press was performing yellow journalism and that was just not on
it was a unanimous Pakistani population and leaders decision to stand with Indians.

we just didnt like their condescending remarks by their correspondents who were mischievously showing Indian WC's of the workers camp and claiming these were facilities for visiting athletes

so news sites , programs, and forums were full of supporting comments by Pakistanis and we knew once the games kick off everything will be forgotten
