There’s no doubt his diplomatic abilities should be questioned, everyone had expected he’d be top notch compared to the losers who came before, but it hasn’t turned out to be the case.

He almost single handedly wrecked our relations with Saudi for a while, it got so bad that some GCC states began applying pressure and recalling support, he’s not taken seriously by the US - no call let alone an audience with Biden, he had to back peddle the whole KL conference and news network thing which was a major embarrassment, we’ve also been trying to get some sort of dialogue started with India re Kartarpur style efforts, but he’s too busy calling Modi a fascist on Twitter, it’s true but not his place as PM to be making comments, I don’t see Modi hitting back with any remarks. Najam Sethi points out bad habits/flaws that Imran Khan had:

(1)Why he took name of his mother holding the world cup, and not his team mates?

(2)Why IK said he'll marry mashriki lady but married a westerner instead? A celebrity? A party going girl?

(3) 1996 care taker gave free 30min or more of free airtime to all, but Najam advocated IK should get 15min not just 5min. So generous of Najam that he gave 15min to IK while rest got 30min+.

(4) IK was not accompanied by a lao-lashkarr when going for Mianwali campaign, was one-man show, hence he didn't get any seat. Even later Musharraf got him 1 seat.

(5) One-man show IK didn't practice "khata bhi hay aur khilata bhi hay", "rakh rakhao"

(6) Najam had problem with Jemima writing about Islam. Najam considered Jemima's writing on Islam not coming from heart.
Remember in 1990 Jugno said something similar about IK, that who's IK to teach us Eastern values when he himself lives a Western lifestyle.

(7) IK gave Najam/Jugno so much respect that two of them were among 8 or so invited to Diana's dinner. Najam thinks that he was invited to dinner with Diana just so that IK could ask him to stop with mud-slinging column in Friday Times.

(8) IK attended a funeral out of the blue and asked Najam again to stop that mud-slinging column in Friday Times. And thought that Najam/Jugno hated him. Najam clarified that's not the case. But in 1990 interview Jugno clearly did object to IK for talking about Eastern values etc.

(9) 35 puncture, [which was based on a leaked audio], was a lie spoken by IK, [Wasn't that retracted for reconciliation?].

(10) IK did NOT drink alcohol. While all other cricketers drank alcohol. Instead IK drank milk in pub.

(11) Military's rank and file were pro-IK. [They still are!]

(12) IK didn't do anything for good governance and poor.
