The Japanese premier assured Mr. Naidu of Japan extending help in construction of the capital and creating basic amenities.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday met Japanese premier Shinzo Abe in Japan and invited him to the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the capital city, Amaravati.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would also be extending a separate invitation for the event to Mr. Abe.
The Japanese premier assured Mr. Naidu of Japan extending help in construction of the capital and creating basic amenities. He also promised Mr. Naidu of extending technical and financial support to Andhra Pradesh, according to Chief Minister’s office.
The Japanese premier lauded the efforts being made by the Andhra Pradesh Government to attract investments. He assured Mr. Naidu of considering his request of having an institutional mechanism with regard to strengthening relations with Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister presented Tirumala prasadam of Lord Venkateswara, “sesha vastram” and a memento to Mr. Abe.
